lash liner
Lash Liner is a permanent makeup treatment that enhances the eyes by adding subtle definition along the lash line. Unlike traditional eyeliner, this technique focuses on the base of the lashes rather than the lid, giving the illusion of thicker, fuller lashes and brighter, more defined eyes — all without makeup.

The result is soft, natural enhancement that makes the lashes look darker and the eyes more awake, while still looking effortless and not overdone. It’s perfect for clients who love a low-maintenance routine but want to look polished from the moment they wake up.

Using a digital PMU device, Nicole carefully implants pigment between the lashes with precision and care. The line can be kept ultra-subtle for a barely-there look or slightly deeper for more noticeable definition — fully tailored to your eye shape and personal style.

All permanent make-up treatments require a consultation prior to treatment.

am i suitable for lash liner?
Lash Liner is a great option for anyone who wants to subtly define their eyes and make their lashes appear fuller without daily makeup. It’s especially popular with clients who:
-
Have fair or sparse lashes and want more definition.
-
Struggle with eyeliner smudging or sensitivity to makeup.
-
Prefer a natural, low-maintenance look that stays in place day and night.
-
Have busy routines or active lifestyles and want to save time each morning.

This treatment is suitable for most clients, but it cannot be performed if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, undergoing active cancer treatment, or have any eye infections, styes, or irritation at the time of your appointment. Clients with certain medical conditions or who use lash serums may need to pause use before treatment — this will be discussed during your consultation.

Nicole will always complete a full consultation and patch test to ensure the treatment is safe and suitable for you, tailoring the style and pigment depth to enhance your natural eye shape.
what to expect during your lash liner treatment?
Your Lash Liner appointment begins with a detailed consultation where Nicole will assess your eye shape, lash line, and discuss the level of definition you’d like to achieve. The treatment is completely customised to your features, ensuring the result looks natural, even, and flattering.

For safety reasons, numbing cream is not used during this treatment, as it poses a risk of entering or irritating the eyes. Instead, Nicole works with a gentle and precise technique that keeps the process as comfortable as possible. Most clients describe the sensation as light scratching or tickling along the lash line rather than pain.

Using a digital PMU device, Nicole carefully implants pigment between the lashes to enhance the lash base and subtly define the eyes. The process is carried out with accuracy and care to ensure both safety and symmetry.

After the treatment, the eyes may feel slightly tender or appear a little puffy, which is completely normal and usually settles within a few hours. The pigment will look more defined at first but will soften as it heals, leaving a clean, natural enhancement.

Nicole will provide aftercare instructions to help the area heal smoothly and keep your results looking beautiful for as long as possible.
how long does lash liner last?
Lash Liner typically lasts between 1–3 years, although this can vary depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Because the pigment is applied in such a fine line, it naturally fades over time to maintain a soft, natural look rather than a harsh outline.

As with all permanent makeup, some clients may experience faster fading due to oilier skin types, sun exposure, or certain skincare products. To keep your lash line looking fresh and defined, Nicole offers colour boost appointments — usually every 18–24 months — to maintain the depth and clarity of your results.

With the right care, Lash Liner is a long-lasting, low-maintenance way to keep your eyes subtly enhanced day after day — without the need for daily makeup.
how to prepare for your lash liner treatment
To make sure your Lash Liner treatment is safe, comfortable, and delivers the best results, please follow these preparation guidelines:
-
Avoid caffeine and alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment, as they can make the eyes more sensitive and increase the risk of bleeding.
-
Do not wear contact lenses to your appointment — please wear glasses instead. You can resume contact lens use the following day once the area has settled.
-
Arrive with clean eyes — no makeup, mascara, lash serum, or eyeliner.
-
Avoid lash lifts, tints, and extensions for at least 2 weeks prior to your treatment.
-
Discontinue the use of lash serums for at least 4 weeks before your appointment, as these can make the skin more sensitive and affect pigment retention.
-
Do not take painkillers or blood-thinning medication (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, or paracetamol) for 24–48 hours prior, unless prescribed by your doctor.
-
Avoid Botox or filler around the eye area for at least 2–4 weeks before your treatment.
-
If you are prone to eye irritation, allergies, or infections, please let Nicole know in advance so she can advise accordingly.

Preparing properly helps ensure the treatment runs smoothly and gives you the most comfortable experience possible. Nicole will go through everything in detail during your consultation and answer any questions before your appointment.
what to expect after your lash liner treatment?
After your Lash Liner treatment, the area around your eyes may feel slightly tender or appear a little puffy — this is completely normal and usually settles within a few hours. The lash line may also look darker or more defined straight after your appointment, but the colour will soften as it heals over the following days.

It’s important to keep the area clean and dry while it heals. Avoid touching, rubbing, or applying makeup to the eyes for at least 7 days. You should also avoid swimming, saunas, steam, and excessive sweating during this time to allow the pigment to settle properly.

A light flaking or shedding of the top layer of pigment is normal — it’s part of the skin’s natural healing process. Avoid picking or pulling at the area, as this can remove pigment and affect your final result.
Once healed, your lash line will appear soft and natural, giving gentle definition that enhances your eyes without looking harsh or heavy.

Nicole will provide you with aftercare advice and let you know when to return for your perfecting session, if required, to ensure your results are balanced and long-lasting.
