Is there a follow-up appointment? A second treatment is given as part of the treatment cost. A second treatment is highly recommend to perfect the finished look. The second treatment must take place within 12 weeks of the initial treatment.
What is Lip Blush? As we age, we lose definition and lustre to our lips. Permanent lip blush is a tattoo treatment to the lips to add colour, definition and the illusion of fullness without the need for lip fillers.
What is the treatment like? The treatment starts with a complementary consultation where we determine you suitability, by patching, asking a few questions around your health and lifestyle, I then read your skin tone, understand your make-up inspirations and desired outcome. With all this information we select a colour to suit. We then map out the lip edge contour, once you are completely happy with the design a numbing cream is applied for your comfort. The pigment colour of choice is then implanted into the skin using a digital tattoo device, specifically design for PMU.
Is there aftercare needed? It is important to follow aftercare advice for the best retention and to avoid infection. Healing balm is provided following your treatment to be applied 3 times daily. For the first week lips should not get excessively wet, this includes; swimming, saunas, sun beds, and exercise and kissing.
