Powder & Ombre Brows
What is Powder Brow?
Powder brows are a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique that enhances the eyebrows with a soft, shaded effect, similar to the look of filled-in makeup. This method uses a machine with a fine needle to gently implant pigment into the skin, creating a misty, pixelated finish that gradually builds depth and definition.
Unlike microblading, which mimics hair strokes, powder brows give a more polished, gradient look — perfect for those who prefer a fuller, more defined brow. The results typically last 18 to 24 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare, making it a long-lasting option for effortlessly groomed brows.
What is Ombre Brow?
Ombre brows are a semi-permanent brow technique that creates a soft, gradient effect — lighter at the front and gradually deepening toward the tail. Using a digital machine and fine needle, pigment is gently layered into the skin to achieve a defined yet natural finish that mimics the look of softly powdered makeup.
Ombre brows are ideal for those who want a more sculpted shape with long-lasting colour, and they work beautifully on all skin types, including oily or mature skin. Results typically last between 18 to 24 months, depending on individual factors like skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare
Benefits of Microblading:
✔ Natural-looking brows – Enhances shape, fullness, and definition.
✔ Saves time – Eliminates the need for daily eyebrow makeup.
✔ Customizable – Tailored to suit individual face shapes, brow preferences, and skin tones.
✔ Low maintenance – Requires only occasional touch-ups to maintain.
Who is Ombre & Powder Brow For?
Ombre and powder brows are ideal for those who want a soft, defined, and long-lasting brow look. They’re especially suited to individuals with oily, combination, or mature skin, as the machine technique tends to hold pigment better and fade more evenly over time. These styles are perfect for clients who regularly fill in their brows with makeup and want a more polished, low-maintenance solution. Whether you prefer a bold, sculpted finish or a soft, natural gradient, both ombre and powder brows can be tailored to suit your desired level of definition.
Powder & Ombre Healing Process & Aftercare
Powder and Ombre brow is a semi-permanent procedure that requires proper aftercare to ensure the best results. Here’s what you need to know about the healing process and aftercare tips to maintain beautiful, long-lasting brows.
Healing Process: What to Expect?
The healing process typically lasts 4-6 weeks, during which your brows will go through different stages. Here’s a general timeline:
✅ Days 1-2: Brows appear bold and darker than expected due to excess pigment. The area may feel slightly tender.
✅ Days 3-7: Light scabbing begins, and brows may feel dry or itchy. DO NOT pick the scabs!
✅ Days 7-14: Brows may appear patchy or uneven as the scabs flake off. This is normal!
✅ Days 14-28: Pigment settles, and brows start to look more natural and even.
✅ Week 4-6: Final healed results! A touch-up may be needed to perfect any faded areas.
Aftercare Tips
✔ Keep brows dry for the first 24-48 hours – Avoid water, sweat, and steam to prevent pigment from fading prematurely.
✔ Apply recommended aftercare balm – Use a light layer of healing ointment (if advised by your artist) to keep brows hydrated.
✔ Avoid touching, scratching, or picking – Let scabs fall off naturally to avoid patchy healing.
✔ No makeup or skincare on brows – Avoid applying foundation, creams, or exfoliants on the brow area for at least 10 days.
✔ Avoid direct sun exposure – UV rays can cause pigment to fade faster. Always use SPF once fully healed.
✔ Skip pools, saunas, and heavy sweating – Keep brows away from chlorinated water and excessive sweating for at least two weeks.
✔ Follow up with a touch-up session – A 4-6 week touch-up is crucial to perfect any faded areas and ensure long-lasting results.
